Chad + Chelsea say “I Do” at the historic Redlands Mitten Building

It turned out to be a perfect day in Redlands the day of Chad + Chelsea’s wedding! The couple had chosen a Roaring 20s theme which was beyond perfect for the historic Mitten Building. Every detail was thought of including a perfectly designed cake by Laura Marie’s Cakes, hand painted wine bottles by the bride with gold and white feathers (for centerpieces), and little tuxedo menus for each place setting.

Chelsea’s dress was an excellent choice for both her personality and theme. What are the chances!? (As you can see below the dress is form fitted, classic lace with a beaded back.)

Their florist Above the Stem Floral Design did such a beautiful job of creating a bouquet that incorporated the theme (feathers in a bouquet….LOVE!) as well as a tribute to the bride’s mother.

There were plenty of memorable moments to be had during the getting ready portion of the day. To view more special moments including a morning jump on the bed between besties, click here.

The couple opted in for a First Look to ease tension, to have a special private moment between the two of them and also to allow for plenty of fun portrait taking. Look how cute they are…

The bride’s dad also planned to have a vintage car parked outside for additional ambiance and of course…picture taking! What a brilliant idea!

(There are WAY more photos than this including the car, but I can only include so many in a blog post. Sigh…. View more by clicking here.)

Let’s talk about the wedding party for a second. As you will see below, they were an absolute BORE! HA! Just kidding. Every single capture with the group was too fun!

How awesome is the gold confetti and matching sunglasses?! Genius idea! Also adding in the train tracks as a back drop doesn’t hurt either. 🙂

After an abundance of portrait taking (our fav!), we then rolled into the important part…the ceremony. The Mitten Building provides an exquisite backdrop to say “I do.” An intimate setting with brick walls, exposed beams, candle light and your loved ones….doesn’t get much better. Swoon!

The reception was a hoot and was filled with heart felt speeches which made you laugh and cry, a crowded dance floor thanks to the DJ (Musical Phunktions), and delicious cuisine.

Overall, this wedding will go down in the books as one of our favorites! Here are a few more portraits to leave you with, and also be sure and check out their highlight video provided by the Allie M. Photo Team! Videography is a new service for 2017 and we are so pleased we are able to offer it!

Colleen + Corey say “I Do” at their gorgeous Spring Temecula Wedding

Well, I am just going to put this out there right now…there are way too many photos to share in just one post! I did my best though to narrow down and share only my elite favorites. 🙂

Colleen + Corey’s wedding was an absolute joy to be a part of! The couple is just as gorgeous on the inside as they are on the outside. Each of their wedding party and guests were also a blast to photograph. (As you will see from the photos below, they were just no fun at all. HA! Yeah right!)

The wedding started off at the Wilson Creek Manor and included bubbly, matching robes and an air of excitement. Below are a few captures of our gorgeous bride!

The groom and groomsmen also enjoyed a day of relaxation, brews and guy talk. Despite all of the fun they were having, we still were able to capture a few “serious” behind the scenes moment of our groom.

Next came the pre-ceremony portraits and the backdrop was exquisite!

During portrait hour we switched over to the couple’s wedding venue, Monte De Oro Winery where the portraits got even more fun!

Next came the ceremony (I had to cut these photos short in effort to share more portraits. View more by clicking here.)

Let’s not forget how gorgeous the details were! Everything was just perfect!!

And finally…portraits of our gorgeous couple! I love how happy they look! Swoon!

As I previously mentioned, there are way too many great moments to condense into one blog post. You can view more favorites from the day by clicking here.

The Happy Couple Have Fun in the Green Rolling Fields of Murrieta for Their Engagement Portraits

It was an absolutely gorgeous day for an even more gorgeous couple in the hills of Murrieta. The day of Tessa + Bryan’s engagement portraits was such a perfect day…there was minimal cloud coverage, a warm afternoon (but chilly blue hour!) and the grass was extra green due to all of the wonderful rain we have received. I hadn’t previously been to the Santa Rosa Plateau although I have been in the area several times, so it was great to be able to receive a special tour from the couple of their favorite places to explore. (Note: The plateau contains wildlife, so you cannot bring your animals to the location. I find it hard to enjoy the great outdoors without my pups, which is why I hadn’t been there before. BUT you’ve got to respect nature, right?! AND..Now that I have been there, I am definitely up for leaving my fur-babes at home to do some more exploring.)

We went to the furtherest point they wanted to hike to first so that we could make our way back as the sun was setting. The walk/hike was SO neat and contained all sorts of different backdrops…a photographers dream that is for sure!

The above photos were captured at around 3 PM so you can see they are nice and bright. I really enjoyed this series of captures because it was right at the beginning when they both were so excited (and probably a bit nervous…in a good way!) to be enjoying this special benchmark in their relationship. I also LOVE Tessa’s dress…absolutely GORGEOUS!

After the open air collection of captures, we then made our way back through the thick trees, meandering stream (with a bridge), and extra tall grass. I love how the couple wore their casual outfit choice for this part because it worked so well with the backdrop! These captures were SO fun (and natural!)

The next part of the session was extremely picturesque! It was hard to believe we were in SoCal. It was extra green and the views were incredible. I think I found it hard to believe this was in our backyard because with the lack of rain we have had, it has been hard to find green scenery. One of the other reasons I found this spot to be so gorgeous was because it kind of reminded me of a scene from the movie 50 First Dates when they are under the big tree, the sun is setting and there is tall grass. I always loved that part! Again, they choose a perfect outfit to make them pop against the background.

For the final portion of our session we went to the top of the rolling fields that had spectacular views. The sun had just set though, and all of the sudden it was FREEZING! It didn’t stop us though from getting some of my favorite captures of the day.

Overall, this session was one for the books. I have way too many favorites to share in one post, so you can view more by clicking here. I cannot wait for their October wedding under the olive trees. I know it will be amazing!
